The Promise of the Void

Before the realms, before the people, there was the Scattering. A moment suspended in time itself, where order and chaos broke the cycle, fusing in a light too old to be named. From this, the Prometheans were born, being of essence, will, fire, flesh and magic. They molded earth, awakened the seas, and light up the first souls upon a tapestry of stars.

But every cycle that begins, must someday end.

Somewhere beyond the realms, The void - a forgotten force stirred in the dark. An ancient hunger, calling to restore the balance that once was, looking to accomplish once more The Promise.

It seeped into the realms through invisible wounds, altering what has been made, and thinning the very fabric between life and death. Prometheans fell into oblivion, letting behind their legacy, and their burden, now shared by races, civilizations, conspiracies, wars and powers older than memory.

Creatures and heroes of tomorrow are rising, some seeking to mend what was once broken.

Others, looking to harness the darkness behind the veil of the realms.

And you… what will you leave behind ?
